One Eighty is a mobile skate project, run by Bath Youth for Christ. To see what our mobile park is like click here.

Our mission statement is:

Taking the good news relevantly to every skater in Bath.

Our aims are:

  • To provide a regular, indoor skate facility for young people in Bath
  • To provide young people with information, advice and support
  • To offer space for those who attend One Eighty sessions to explore for themselves the Christian faith, through spoken word, group work, multi-media and or any other appropriate medium.
  • To meet young people in skate spots and on the streets as well as at One Eighty sessions
  • To partner and work with local schools.
  • To help other organisations and churches to reach skaters effectively.
  • To befriend, serve and partner with the local skate industry.
  • This turns into the following areas of work:

Weekly Sessions - We run a weekly session in Centre 69 youth centre, Weston, Bath on a Tuesday night from 7.30 - 9.30pm. Click on our events page to check when we're running. For directions to C69 click here.

Thrive - A six week course we run in schools, helping young people learn life skills through skateboarding, rollerblading and BMX bike riding. To see our Thrive leaflet, click here.

Detached Work - Two One Eighty workers conduct regular detached youth work around local skate spots and parks. Detached work is to build relationships with young people who don't come to One Eighty weekly sessions.

Events - One Eighty can be hired to run small scale skate events in the South West. For information about booking us, contact our office or email us through the contact page.

Switch - A course written to introduce skaters to Christianity, available to buy. See the Switch page for more information.

Graff - A partnership project with BANES council youth service, Graff is a project set up to deter young people from illegal graffiti by providing free equipment and a legal weekly graffiti session.
